Michigan Gas Prices Up 17 Cents To $4.15
DETROIT (WWJ) - How high can they go? We're paying 17 cents more for a gallon of gas this week in Michigan, the eleventh straight weekly increase. Triple A Michigan says the current statewide average is 4.15, a dollar 27 cents higher than last year.
According to AAA, the highest prices in the state are up in Marquette, where gas is going for $4.19 a gallon. AAA says the cheapest prices are in Flint, Lansing, and Saginaw/Bay City, where gas averages around $4.13.
Meantime, GasBuddy.com suggests the CostCo in Roseville at $3.95 per gallon (members only!) and a Sunoco on E. McNichols at Mt. Elliott in Detroit for the same price. See more at this link.
GasBuddy agrees with AAA -- the web site shows the cheapest place for gas in the state is Flint.
