Stop me if you have heard this one before: Michigan fans are arrogant. Oh, I should stop? You have heard that before? OK, you will be able to understand this then.
Every team has a fan base that you could say is pretty obnoxious and you would probably rather never hear from them again.
Collegespun.com has come up with a list of "The 8 College Football Fan Bases You'll Hate The Most In 2016." Pretty clever if you ask me.
Your very own Michigan Wolverines fan base was on the list. They came in at No. 4.
The Wolverines' place on this list can be explained in two words.
Jim. Harbaugh.
Michigan's football coach has taken college football by storm with his trash talking, trolling and vibrant Twitter profile.
Here is the rest of the list.
8. Clemson
7. LSU
6. Baylor
5. Notre Dame
4. Michigan
3. Alabama
2. Ohio State
1. Florida State
On a positive note for Michigan fans, they were picked to win the 2018 National Championship by yardbarker.com.
In Year 4 leading the Wolverines' program, Harbaugh, with a team comprised of basically all players he has recruited, ends Ohio State's reign of dominance on the Big Ten. Michigan goes 13-1 – its lone loss coming on a dreary afternoon at Northwestern – with a win against Nebraska in the Big Ten Championship Game. The regular season ended with a surprisingly dominant, 35-17 win at Ohio State in Columbus.
It's the only national championship Harbaugh wins in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The website did pick its National Title winners through 2024 as Texas takes home the prize.
