Michigan-Alabama Opener Set For Primetime
The Michigan-Alabama season opener on Sept. 1 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will kick off at 7 p.m. CST and be televised nationally on ABC.
Defending national champion Alabama will be the home team and the Wolverines will be the visitors. Game officials will be from the Big 12 Conference.
The traditional powers have played three previous games, all in bowls. The most recent meeting was a 35-34 overtime victory for Michigan in the 2000 Orange Bowl.
