Mich. Man Arrested In Florida After Photographing Boy In Bathroom Stall
BRANDON, Fla. (WWJ/AP) - A Michigan man has been arrested near Tampa, Fla. after authorities say he took pictures of a 12-year-old boy while he was using a mall bathroom.
Victor Lemm, a 57-year-old from Coleman, Mich., is facing voyeurism charges after Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies arrested him at his motel in southwest Florida.
Police say the boy was using a restroom at a Macy's department store in Brandon, Fla. on Thursday when Lemm reached under the stall with his cell phone and aimed his phone at the victim three times.
The victim fled the restroom and told his aunt and uncle. Store employees followed Lemm as he left the store and were able to get his vehicle tag number, which deputies linked to a Dollar Rental vehicle.
Authorities tracked the vehicle to Lemm's rented room at a Motel 6 where he was taken into custody without incident.
Police say Lemm later admitted to the crime.
