"Mother's Day Walk-A-Mom," Sunday May 13th 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids of all ages who walk the trail of their choice with their mom will be awarded an official Walk-A-Mom certificate. Also, mom will get a garden flower to plant at home. The program is free. For more info, call (586) 781-9113.
With spring weather on its way, the metroparks also provide an opportunity for families to visit baby animals at the Farms Center in Kensington Metroparks or to have a picnic and take a walk.
