Metro Detroit Man's Homage To World War Two Vets
By Jayne Bower
WIXOM (WWJ) - Sean Tracy, 53, of Wixom has a mission.
He wants to contact as many World War II veterans as possible and build them exact replica models of the aircraft, ship, truck or other military vehicle they operated during the war.
So far, he has built about 100 models, using the overtime money he earns as a truck driver to pay for the supplies.
Tracy can spend as few as 20 and as many as 300 hours to finish a model, which is free of charge to the vet.
While he is determined to continue building the models, Tracy says his funds are running low. He only has enough money to build two, maybe three more models.
