Merit Network Issues RFP for Wireless as a Service Vendor
ANN ARBOR -- Merit Network Inc. announced Friday the release of a request for proposals for a wireless Local Area Network vendor.
The RFP seeks to identify the most appropriate WLAN vendor for a Wireless as a Service system that Merit will offer its membership. The selected vendor will work with Merit to offer a centrally managed, turnkey wireless solution for Merit member organizations.
Proposals in response to the WaaS Solution Provider RFP will be accepted no later than 5 p.m. Nov. 23.
Vendors can register to download the RFP by using the online request form at www.merit.edu/wirelessrfp/.
Merit Network would like to invite its membership to assist in the RFP evaluation process or participate in a pilot of the new service. Interested Members should contact the Merit Product Development Team at product-team@merit.edu.
