Memorial Set For Ambassador Bridge Worker
DETROIT (WWJ) - A memorial for a man who died while working on the Ambassador Bridge is set for Sunday.
Kent Morton was working on the bridge when he fell into the Detroit River.
The 28-year-old dad from Garden City was working for a Livonia company hired to paint the bridge.
An acquaintance of Morton's noted, "I worked security at the bridge and Kent was always a bright spot in my day he always had that big grin and always a good word."
The accident happened Jan.11, and his body has still not been found.
The memorial will be held at the John N. Santeiu & Son funeral home in Inkster.
