Matthew Stafford: It's Gonna Be Tougher For Defenses Without Calvin Johnson

2016 will be an interesting year for Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions.
It will be the first time that Stafford won't have safety valve Calvin Johnson to throw the ball to when he gets into trouble in the pocket.
Stafford isn't admitting to being phased without number 81 on the field.
While doing an interview with Alex Marvez and Kirk Morrison of Sirius XM NFL Radio he said he feels the offense in '16 will be "tougher on defenses."
According to Profootballtalk.com:
"I think we're going to do it a little bit differently than we have in the past," Stafford said. "Obviously we used to feature Calvin and everybody kinda got there's after that. It's gonna, I think, be tougher for defenses in a certain way that they don't know who we're going to. There's no guy to key in on. We're probably just going to spread the ball around a bunch, a bunch of guys are gonna get a ton of catches and we're gonna be alright."

Here is who Stafford will be throwing the ball to this season, barring any injuries: Golden Tate, T.J. Jones, Marvin Jones, Andre Caldwell, Jeremy Kerley, Corey Fuller and Eric Ebron for the most part. I don't know why, but I almost think Stafford is onto something with his quote. The team will dink and dunk down the field so yes, teams will not key on one individual player.
Do you believe the offense will be tougher on defenses in 2016?
