Matt Landry Murder Trial Continues
The murder trial of Ihab Maslamani, the man accused of murdering 21-year-old Matthew Landry of Chesterfield Township last summer, is continuing in a Macomb County courtroom.
During testimony Tuesday, Detroit resident Eddie Collins, a prosecution witness, testified he saw a green Honda parked in front of his home near where Matt Landry's body was found on Detroit's east side last August. Collins told the court that he noticed two men standing near that car. He identified one of those men as Ihab Maslamani.
Prosecutors presented several witnesses linking Ihab Maslamani to Matt Landry and that green Honda, Matt Landry's car. It's all an effort to show that he is the person responsible for Landry's death.
Testimony is resuming Wednesday.
