The Tigers and Indians are tied atop the AL Central and here we are on June 14th and it's the first trip in this season to Comerica Park for the Tribe. Justin Verlander who is 6-1 with an E.R.A under 3 in his last 9 starts against Cleveland goes for the Tigers. Indians counter with righty Justin Masterson.
ESPN reports that progress is being made in the latest round of NFL labor talks. The report says that all 32 NFL teams received a memo today saying that they need to be prepared to stay overnight next week in Chicago at the league meetings. A possible vote on a new deal could be on the horizon.
Rich Rodriguez has a full time TV gig. The CBS Sports Network, formerly known as CBS College Sports has hired the ex Michigan coach to be a game and studio analyst for college football this fall.
Pistons are working out a handful of players today at the Palace with the Spartans Durrell Summers in attendance.
