The streaky Tigers now on a 2 game winning roll as they play game 2 of their 3 game set against the last place Twins at Comerica Park. Max Scherzer on the mound for Detroit and trying to put his last start behind him when he allowed 7 runs in 2 innings to the Red Sox. Lefty Brian Duensing throws for Minnesota, hard to believe the Twins are the major's worst team at 17 and 35.
NHL hockey is back in Winnipeg, the new owners of the Atlanta Thrashers; True North Sports say they are moving the team back to Western Canada. TSN reports that Winnipeg will remain in the East and in the southeast division for next season before realignment pushes them back in the west in 2 years. It's expected that Nashville is the team that moves from the Western Conference to the East.
Officials from the NCAA confirming today that Terrelle Pryor is under investigation for accepting cars and other benefits from Ohio State boosters.
NBA Finals tonight in Miami where the Heat are favored to knock off the Mavs in a 2006 Finals rematch. Dirk Nowitski and company have won their last 5 on the road in the post season.
