The Tigers look to get back on track tonight, game 2 of their 4 game set with red hot Boston. Red Sox have won 3 straight and have scored 28 runs in their last 2 games with Carl Crawford going 8 for 9 in those contests. Rick Porcello on the hill for Detroit who has an ERA near 7 lifetime against the Sox. Tim Wakefield, the knuckleballer throws for Boston. Before the game tonight Magglio Ordonez will take part in some on field drills to test his injured ankle.
Scottie Pippen making some interesting comments today on a Chicago radio station. The former Bulls great was courtside last night for the LeBron James display and says that the Heat star may be the greatest player ever to play the game. Adding that his old teammate Michael Jordan is the greatest scorer to ever play the game.
According to reports, Kevin McHale has been offered the Houston Rockets head coaching job.
