Calvin Johnson and Louis Delmas among the new faces at Lions workouts today at Country Day, it's day 2 of these organized team practices with obviously no coaches allowed. 35 to 40 players involved today. Nate Burleson also flew in from Seattle in time for the workout.
College Football Hall-of-Fame welcomes in 16 new members later this year as previously reported ex Michigan Coach Lloyd Carr is in as is ex Michigan State wide out Gene Washington and former Lion Doug English who played at Texas.
Tigers get back at it tonight against the Blue Jays once again; Rick Porcello takes the mound for Detroit against lefty Jesse Litsch.
Greg Monroe will carry a Chuck Daly lapel pin with him tonight in New Jersey for good luck. The Pistons big man will represent Detroit at the NBA Draft Lottery; Pistons have a 4.3% chance of landing the top pick.
