For the second straight day the Lions have Shaun Hill throwing some passes in individual drills at practice. The Veteran QB is trying to get healthy in time to start Sunday against Tampa Bay. Drew Stanton was taking the reps in the team portion of practice opt to the media. Lions have claimed CB Eric King off waivers today as he comes back after a short stint with the Browns.
Minnesota Vikings have put their quarterbacks on IR, no; it's not Brett Favre but rather Tarvaris Jackson. Jackson is done for the year due to ligament damage in his toe. Joe Webb is expected to start Monday night against the Bears. The NFL is still trying to determine where the Vikes game will be played if TCF Bank Stadium is not ready, the two teams could play in Indy at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Chad For at ESPN.com asked if he has heard if there are any strong suitors for Rip Hamilton as Pistons President Joe Dumars continues to work the phones. Ford says Charlotte has genuine interest. Pistons bring in the L.A. Clippers tomorrow night; L.A. has not won a road game all season.
