Nobody thought in a million years back in November that Michigan State would be on the NCAA Tournament bubble but they are. Spartans getting back to work today now prepping for day 1 of the Big Ten Tournament Thursday, they will face the 10 seed Iowa. Head Coach Tom Izzo says he will not look back but only forward and still believes in his team. Michigan plays Friday afternoon in the 4-5 game against Illinois.
ESPN's bracketologist Joe Lunardi has both State and U of M in the tournament but has MSU in one of the last 4 in and having to play Tuesday in one of the first 4 games.
Tracy McGrady has not played now in 5 straight games for the Pistons, all DNP's coaches' decision. The veteran guard after practice today told the media that he knows why he has been benched but would not reveal what it is. This latest episode affects his decision to return to Detroit next year; McGrady says "of course it does".
