Big Ten Tournament resumes today with both Michigan and Michigan State in action. The Wolverines would certainly cement their NCAA tournament chances with a victory over Illinois; Michigan the 4th seed nearly upset the Illini on the road a month ago. Later on this evening Michigan State in the quarterfinals against 2nd seeded Purdue. Boilers swept the season series from the Spartans.
Speaking of MSU the Lansing State Journal is reporting that 2 Spartan football players, Brian Linthicum and Max Bullough were arrested out in Aspen Colorado after an incident at a local bar. Both eluded police after an apparent bar fight, Linthicum was charged with assault.
Red Wings skate at the Joe tonight against the worst team in the NHL the Edmonton Oilers. Mike Babcock says playing the worst team doesn't matter. Jimmy Howard gets the start in net.
Pistons stay with the same starting five for tonight's game in Oklahoma City against the Thunder. Tracy McGrady remains at the point.
Phil Coke on the hill for the Tigers this afternoon as they travel to Jupiter to face the Cardinals, Miguel Cabrera is in the lineup. Meantime Jim Leyland telling reporters before today's game that he is tired of answering questions about Miguel Cabrera.
