Reports say that things are moving quickly in Ann Arbor today with Michigan Coach Rich Rodriguez set to meet this afternoon with AD David Brandon. Reportedly Rodriguez has already told his players and coaches to attend a 7 PM meeting tonight to get an update. The Detroit News says that at least 3 of Rich Rod's assistants remain on the road recruiting and have not been called back to town; Rodriguez is expected to be fire today. Detroit Free Press says Jim Harbaugh will not be the next head coach speculating that he will either stay at Stanford or go to the NFL. A report out of San Diego says SDSU boss Brady Hoke, a former Michigan assistant would jump at the chance to come back to Ann Arbor.
Jim Harbaugh reportedly has already had contact with the Miami Dolphins who are owned by Steven Ross of thee Steven Ross Business School at Michigan Fame.
Detroit Pistons head into L.A. to face the Lakers, a team that has lost 4 of 6 with each of those 4 losses in blowout fashion.
