Matt Damon Got His Revenge On Jimmy Kimmel
By: Sara
Over the last 10 years, the running joke on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" has been that the show has run out of time and Matt Damon has to be bumped as a guest. After biding his time and putting together a careful plot, Matt Damon finally got his revenge. He kidnapped Kimmel and took over the show on Thursday night.
Matt Damon wasted no time in hitting Jimmy where it hurts, and immediately replaced Kimmel's devoted sidekick Guillermo. Damon brought in Andy Garcia instead (who spoke with Guillermo's accent). He also swapped out Kimmel's band leader Cleto for Sheryl Crow and brought in Robin Williams to finish the monologue. Next, Damon lined up a cavalcade of stars and had visits from Nicole Kidman, Gary Oldman, Reese Witherspoon, and Demi Moore.
But the final blow came when Matt busted out Jimmy Kimmel's ex-girlfriend for the final interview. Sarah Silverman really twisted the knife, and compared her 5-year relationship with Jimmy to an unfortunate trip to a hot dog vendor.
