Mateen Cleaves Giving Back Again [BLOG]

One thing you can say about former MSU star Mateen Cleaves is that he never forgets where he came from. For the second straight year Cleaves is teaming up with Meijer, Fox Sports Detroit, Fathead and other organizations to present "1 Goal,1 Passion Hope For The Holidays."
The campaign is to bring miracles to over 1,000 Michigan families in need. Each family will receive $100.00 Meijer gift cards to help buy groceries and other seasonal items.
Cleaves, who is a studio analyst for Fox Sports Detroit's Pistons coverage is never shy about his opinions. He thinks it will take time for Stan Van Gundy to fix the Pistons due to the players learning a new system.
He is still passionate about his alma mater especially freshman point guard Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn Jr. " I love me some Tum Tum. He reminds me of myself as far as his approach to the game. He is a great leader and he is all business. The biggest thing Coach Izzo is going to have to do is get him to relax."
