Man Wanted In June Shooting Arrested During Traffic Stop
ROYAL OAK TWP. (WWJ) - Michigan State Police say a 25-year-old man wanted in connection with a June shooting was arrested during a traffic stop on I-696.
Michael Anthony Terrell Jr. was taken into custody around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday. Police said Terrell was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation on westbound I-696 near Inkster Road.
Terrell was wanted for a shooting that occurred at Town Liquor, located in 20000 block of Wyoming in Royal Oak Township, but police declined to elaborate.
Terrell was arraigned Thursday in the 45-B District Court on two counts of attempted murder and two counts felony firearms. He received a $300,000 cash bond will return to court on Oct. 22 for a preliminary examination.
