Man To Be Charged In The Burning, Stealing Of 153-Year-Old Bible
BLISSFIELD (AP) - A young Lennewee County man will soon be in court for allegedly stealing and burning a 153-year-old Bible.
Twenty-two year-old Ronald Huskins II, of Blissfield, is charged with breaking and entering, larceny and arson.
The large Bible and ceremonial ornaments were taken during a burglary last summer at the Palmyra Masonic Temple in Lenewee County.
The Bible had been used at each monthly meeting and ceremony of the Palmyra Masons since its 1866 charter. It's believed to have been printed in 1859.
