Man Robbed, Fatally Shot On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit homicide detectives are working a case in the city's historic Woodbridge neighborhood.
Investigators say a man in his 50's was robbed and shot just before 7:30 p.m. Monday near Lysander and Avery streets on the city's west side. He was declared dead at the scene.
A neighbor who lives in the area said the victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was in the area visiting a relative.
The suspect, who allegedly had an assault weapon, remains at large.
