Man Killed In Off-Road Vehicle Crash
ARCADIA TWP. (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a 52-year-old man was killed when the off-road vehicle he was riding overturned in Lapeer County.
Michael Pitt was found dead Monday at his property on Lum Road in Arcadia Township, about 50 miles north of Detroit.
The sheriff's department said Pitt had been operating the 4-wheeler on Sunday when the accident occurred.
Police say they found evidence that the 4-wheeler had overturned one complete revolution while sliding sideways before coming to a rest on all four tires with Pitt's body located nearby., Mlive.com reported.
The death is under investigation.
