Man Hangs Self With Kids At Home
COMMERCE TWP. (WWJ) - After fighting with her husband earlier in the day, police say a Commerce Township woman found her husband dead from an apparent suicide with one of their young children in the room.
It happened Sunday night at the family's home in the 200 block of Meadows Circle.
Police said the wife worked late and then came home and went to sleep at approximately 2 p.m. At about 7:40 p.m. she discovered her 37-year-old husband had apparently hung himself.
The couple's 2 and 3-year-old children were home at the time. The mother found one child in the room with the deceased and the other child in a highchair.
Police said the couple had been having marital problems.
