Man Found Shot To Death Inside West Side Detroit Home
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit have more questions than answers after a 28-year-old man was found shot to death inside his west side home.
The discovery was made Wednesday evening at a home on Piedmont Street, in a neighborhood along Joy Road between Evergreen and Southfield roads.
According to police, the victim's brother went to the home to investigate after receiving a phone call from his sister, who said the victim's front door was wide open. The brother went inside and found the victim's body on the living room floor.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene but there was nothing they could do. The victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
Police are now trying to identify the gunman and any possible motive.
