Man Found Shot To Death Inside Running Car In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are piecing together evidence after a 54-year-old man was found shot to death inside his car on the city's west side.
The man was found early Tuesday morning inside his 2005 Cadillac on Atkinson Street, in a neighborhood near Woodward and Clairmount avenues. Police say the man's car was still running with its headlights on when officers arrived on the scene.
The man was shot multiple times, police said. His identity was not immediately released.
Police haven't yet said how the man died, although reports say he was shot during an attempted carjacking.
