Man Faces Sentencing In Detroit Officer's Death
DETROIT (WWJ) - The man charged with hitting and killing a 17-year veteran of the Detroit Police Department will be sentenced Monday.
40-year-old Detroit Police Officer Charles Armour was trying to stop a car on foot in the Greektown area when he was struck and killed last year. Saddam Mohsin plead guilty to second degree murder and operating under the influence causing death. Mohsin was going the wrong way on a one way street and yelling obscenities at pedestrians.
Mohsin could be sentenced to between 18 and 35 years in prison.
