Man Dies After Being Knocked Unconscious Outside Of Bar
HOLLY (WWJ) - Charges could be filed as early as Tuesday following the death of a 43-year-old man who was knocked unconscious outside of a bar in Holly.
Police say the victim, a Highland resident, died Monday -- three days after he was punched in the face and hit his head on the cement outside Martini's Bar and Grill.
Investigators say the victim was leaving the bar when he was attacked by a 37-year-old man from Fenton, who was subsequently arrested near the scene for aggravated assault and parole violations.
The victim was transported to the hospital, but never regained consciousness. The Fenton man is now facing possible murder charges.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the altercation between the two men.
