Man Pleads Guilty In Child Porn Case, Allegedly Offered Chocolate To Girl In Exchange For Nude Photos
GRAND RAPIDS (AP) — A 65-year-old northern Michigan man accused of offering chocolate to a young girl if she allowed him to take nude photos will spend at least 15 years in prison.
WZZM-TV and MLive.com report Friday that William Schock pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court in Grand Rapids to sexual exploitation of a child.
He faces up to 30 years in prison and will be sentenced Sept. 21.
Schock, of Manistee, also was accused of possessing child pornography. He was arrested last year.
The government says sexually explicit photos of a child were taken in 2013 in Schock's home. He also was accused of taking photos of a six-year-old girl. One girl was offered chocolate if she posed nude.
