Macomb Man Busted When House Guests Find Child Porn
MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - A 45-year-old Macomb Township man faces child pornography charges after his house guests turned him in.
Daniel Morris was arrested on Saturday after deputies from the Macomb Area Computer Enforcement (MACE) received reports that he had a video depicting child pornography on his computer. The reports came from two complainants who had been living with Morris for the past two weeks.
The complainants said they also viewed images on Morris' home computer.
A search warrant was executed at the residence and detectives seized a computer and related material. Morris was later arrested at work.
Morris is charged with 10 counts of child pornography possession and one count of use of a computer communicating with another to commit a crime/felony.
Morris was arraigned at District Court in Shelby Township. His bond was set at $15,000.
