Long Live Key And Peele
By: Bill McAllister
The days of Saturday Night Live actually being funny or relevant are long gone. The late 1990's were probably the last time the show was funny. That cast included Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon and Molly Shannon to name a few. From the Mid 1990's until the late 2000's, SNL was challenged by MAD TV on Fox. Keegan-Michael Key (who just happens to be from Detroit) and Jordan Peele were both members of that cast and now they have a half-hour sketch comedy show on Comedy Central aptly called Key and Peele.

This show blows away SNL. Granted, it's not live but the writing is exceptional! Very funny stuff such as mocking Flash Mobs and Gay Gangsters to Zombie Attacks and Movie Hecklers. Check 'em out on Comedy Central and stop watching that lousy SNL.
