Long Court Day For Stabbing Suspect
It will be a long day in court for the man accused of a series of stabbings in Genesee County.
There are four hearings scheduled Thursday for Elias Abuelazam, all involving charges of attempted murder in and around Flint earlier this year. A judge must determine if there's probable cause to send him to trial.
Abuelazam already has been ordered to face one murder trial. Two more probable-cause hearings on murder charges are planned for Friday and December 16.
Abuelazam was captured on August 11 in Atlanta while trying to fly to his native Israel. He's also charged with attempted murder in Toledo, Ohio, and is suspected in attacks in Leesburg, Virginia.
