Local Libyan Man Supports Air Strikes
Some members of Metro Detroit's Libyan community are pleased to see the air strikes against Moammar Gadhafi's military forces. One who is happy to see the world support is Sala Huwio , of Ann Arbor, who is from Benghazi and many of his family members still live there. He was on his way home from Washington, D.C., where he and many others demonstrated Saturday to support the people of Libya.
"We ask the help of the world because we, he, we were fearing of him if he gets inside those cities, he will revenge . He is a , he is a bloodthirsty person and we are happy for this help from the international community."
"We support the air strike on military bases , on on the Gadhafi's army and on him , if possible too. That's what we are, we are supporting. We are not supporting any and this is.. I want to be very clear about this....we are not supporting any ground invasion, any troops because the Libya people ..we can take care of that."
Huwio says the Libyan people are willing to sacrifice to get rid of Gadhafi.
