CBS DETROIT - The NFL has moved the start time of the Dec. 14 matchup between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings to 4:25 p.m. The game, which will be played at Ford Field, was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Lions defeated the Vikings, 17-3, when the teams met in Minnesota on Oct. 12.
Flexible scheduling by the NFL could lead to another kickoff time change for the Lions later in the season.
The Lions play the Green Bay Packers on the road Dec. 28. The Packers lead the NFC North with their record of 9-3, while the Lions trail by a game at 8-4. Depending on what happens for both teams as the season continues, their matchup in the season's final week - one likely to be rife with playoff implications - could be flexed to an evening start.
