Lions Think Rookie Cornerback Amari Spievey Can Be A Big Hit
Lions coach Jim Schwartz usually wanders around the position-group portion of practice, never spending too much time with any one group. But Tuesday, Schwartz spent an unusual amount of time at a press coverage drill between defensive backs and receivers. He was right at the line of scrimmage, giving pointers to both groups.
The object of the drill was for the receivers to get off the line as clean as possible while the defensive backs tried to press and jam them.
