Lions Suffer Heartbreaking Loss
Following the Lions disappointing 23-20 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, needless to say, fans are disappointed.
Here's what fans calling in to WWJ's sister station, 97.1 The Ticket, had to say following the loss:
"They blew it. They should have run the ball and they didn't, so it just cost 'em the game. It was an easy coach's decision and they didn't do it," one fan said.
- Excitement Before the Game
As usual, before every Lions home game, it was a virtual sea of silver and blue at Eastern Market, where Lions fans hold their tailgating parties.
Self-described "huge" Lions fan Scott Frank of Harrison Township tailgates at Eastern Market before every home game.
Frank and his entourage have been Lions season ticket-holders for nearly a dozen years, and they also travel to at least one away game every season. This year, they'll be heading to Buffalo to watch the Lions take on the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Frank says he's a "blue" fan through-and-through, so much so that he set up a web site devoted to the team and other loyal fans.
