Lions Set Record With Consecutive Comeback Wins
ALLEN PARK (AP) - The Detroit Lions have become the Comeback Cats.
They are the first team in NFL history to rally from 20-plus point deficits in consecutive victories, according STATS LLC.
Detroit dug a 27-3 hole Sunday at Dallas and came back to win 34-30. The Lions fell behind Minnesota 20-0 the previous week and won 26-23 in overtime.
Lions coach Jim Schwartz says teams take on the personality of their quarterback. Matthew Stafford's swagger and arm has helped teammates believe they can be down, but not out, in any game.
The Lions (4-0) host Chicago (2-2) next Monday night.
