Lions Road Losing Streak Reaches 23 Games

Despite leading the Packers in every major statistical category, the Lions dropped their 20th straight to Green Bay at home and 23rd straight on the road after falling 28-26 at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Detroit led in total yardage 431-261, racked up 24 first downs compared to the Packers 16 and even ran almost double the amount of plays 78-40, but could not find the end zone on their final four processions, settling for field goals, which proved to be the difference.

Brandon Pettigrew led the team with 91 yards on eight catches while Calvin Johnson hauled in six passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns. The loss now drops Detroit to 0-4 on the season and will have them trying to rebound next Sunday against the St. Louis Rams at Ford Field.
