Lions RB Bush Still Uncertain About Weekend
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit running back Reggie Bush hopes to practice Friday, though his status for the Lions' game at Washington this weekend is still uncertain.
Bush has a banged-up left knee, and the team said he did not practice Thursday.
Bush says he's hoping to show he can be healthy enough to contribute.
The Lions acquired Bush in the offseason, and he adds a running threat to an offense that also includes Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. He ran for 90 yards and caught a 77-yard touchdown pass in a season-opening win over Minnesota.
In last weekend's loss at Arizona, a banged-up Bush was held to 25 yards on nine carries.
