Lions' Jahvid Best (Toe) Plans To Play Sunday

Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best said today his sprained right toe has "gotten a lot better" and he plans to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

"The toe's doing good," Best said. "I'm going to give it a go tomorrow and see how it feels, but it's gotten a lot better -- better than I thought it was going get -- so it's looking real good right now."

Best sprained ligaments in his right big toe in the first half of last week's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He returned for the first play of the second half but sat out the rest of the game, unable to cut or run.

He has not practiced this week.
