Lions' Gunther Cunningham To Face Redskins' Mike Shanahan Again
For this week at least, Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham has a picture of Redskins coach Mike Shanahan on his desk.
"Every morning when I come to the office, I make sure I get to see him," Cunningham said. "Next week, I'll tell you why."
Longtime rivals and good friends, Cunningham and Shanahan will rekindle a relationship Sunday that dates back more than two decades, since both were position coaches in the AFC West.
