Ever wonder what NFL players say before a big game, after a big play or on the sidelines? Now you know, at least a little.
The Detroit Lions put a video on their website of mic'd-up moments from Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, and the resulting 10 minutes are pretty entertaining.
You'll see a lot of longtime Lions safety Louis Delmas, a little of new safety Glover Quin, a little more of injured wide receiver Nate Burleson and an entertaining exchange between some former Lions and an official. The most talking televised, however, comes from a surprisingly fiery - given his usual laid-back demeanor with media - quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Some of the highlights are Stafford marveling over his defense - "Can you imagine having Ziggy Ansah and Ndamukong Suh line up across from you, being the center and being like, 'Awesome!'" - and telling head coach Jim Schwartz he got the ball across the plane on his touchdown-fumble only to be told, "I don't think you did ... "
If you enjoy watching the Lions, you should give this a look.
