Lions Aaron Berry Out For Season
Lions cornerback Aaron Berry has been placed on the injured-reserved list and will undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder after re-aggravating a college injury in his first NFL game.
Berry, an undrafted rookie out of Pitt, started at nickel cornerback and made an interception in the Lions' season-opening loss to the Bears, but he left twice with shoulder problems. He finished the game on the sideline with his shoulder wrapped tightly.
