"Limitless" Is Non-Stop Action Thriller
What would you do if you could have anything in the world at your disposal? That is essentially what an unassuming copywriter finds himself faced with in the new movie, "Limitless."
Bradley Cooper stars as aspiring author Eddie Morra, who has been given an advance to finish a book, but he has been suffering from writer's block and is having trouble keeping his commitment with the publisher. His life takes a surprising turn after he runs into an old friend who introduces him to NZT, a revolutionary new drug that allows him to use both sides of his brain, when as the friend tells him, most people use just one.
Instead of settling for finishing the book, Eddie decides to take on a much bigger challenge and soon finds himself going up against mysterious stalkers, a gangster who will stop at nothing to get his hands on Eddie's stash of NZT, and an intense police investigation.
Limitless is based on the novel of the same name (originally The Dark Fields) by Alan Glynn, so there's no shortness of breadth as far as the plot is concerned.
Along with Bradley Cooper, Limitless stars Academy Award winner Robert DeNiro, Abbie Cornish, Anna Firel, Andrew Howard, Johnny Whitworth and Thomas Arana. The film's director is Neil Burger.
