Lesson On Golf Blog: SUSPEND TIGER!
Tiger Woods is an embarrassment to the PGA Tour.
Not because of his off course antics, but because of the way he acts on the course.
He always has had problems controlling his temper on the course. It has now become more magnified since he no longer is anywhere near the best player in the world.
He hit rock bottom at the just completed Masters. His behavior consisted of cursing on the air (they know they can be heard), and throwing and kicking his clubs-all on golf's biggest stage.
Obviously there is no room for this in the game of golf-let alone on international television-as an example for youngsters who still look up to the guy. His behavior is an insult to the game.
The solution is to suspend Tiger Woods. Of course this will never happen since he IS the meal ticket out there. Without Tiger, no one watches and no one cares.
Still it is time for the PGA Tour to show a backbone and suspend this guy for his continuously ridiculous behavior ON the course. The hypocrisy has become silly.
Anyone whose name is NOT Tiger Woods would definitely be suspended. How long do you think John Daly would be gone for this type of behavior?
