Leshoure Back At Practice For Lions
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure is back at practice after recovering from a right hamstring injury.
Leshoure has missed most of training camp because of the injury, but he was on the field Wednesday with the team. The Lions could use a healthy Leshoure because running back Jahvid Best is still out with concussion problems.
Detroit drafted Leshoure in the second round last year out of Illinois, but he hasn't played a down for the Lions. He missed all of his rookie season last year with a torn left Achilles tendon. He'll also miss the first two games this season for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy.
