LeBron James spoke to reporters at The Palace during Cleveland's morning shootaround in preparation for the Cavaliers vs Pistons game later tonight.

He talked quite a bit about the Pistons and what Detroit means to him. He credits the Pistons for helping to shape him into the player he's become.

LeBron said, "There are always memories coming back here. They (Pistons) definitely hold something in my career because they pushed me individually to a championship level. A mind frame, an understanding that you have to beat this team in order to be successful."

A reporter then asked if he's specifically referring to the "27 points in a row, or the 29 points in a row game."

He was talking about in 2007 when James scored 29 of Cleveland's final 30 points and won game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals to take a 3-2 lead.

LeBron replied, "Or whatever it was, it was something like that. That's one of them (memories)."

James was also asked about Brandon Jennings Achilles injury and he showed some sympathy for him:

"When your foot stays on the ground like that, and your leg comes up, you automatically know what that is. You don't want that for anybody, especially in our league."

Cleveland has won 6 games in a row, and will look to make it 7 against Detroit tonight.

The Cavaliers vs Pistons game tips off at 7:30 Tuesday night at The Palace.
