Lansing Police Investigate Baby's Death As Homicide
LANSING (AP) - Lansing police say they're investigating the death of a 3-month-old girl as a homicide and a person is in custody.
The Lansing State Journal reports the person being held Monday is expected to be charged in the death of Janayjah Sanders.
Mlive.com reported that detectives went to a hospital Friday afternoon after getting a report that a baby was being treated for serious internal injuries.
Police say the child was pronounced dead Friday night.
