KP Boxing Returns To The Masonic Temple Showdown For Motown III
It's Friday Night Fight time again at the Masonic Temple, as KP Boxing returns with its third outstanding card on February 7.
Detroit middleweight phenom Tony "Superbad" Harrison, will continue his march to a title fight as he puts his 16 – 0 record(13 by KO) against Grady "Bad Boy" Brewer. Brewer was the winner of the ESPN television show "The Contender". Brewer's most notable victory came with a win over Detroit's own and former IBF Light Middleweight Champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage.
Harrison's last battle was November 27, 2013 on the Kaltsas card at the Masonic Temple. In that contest Tony dispatched Donald Ward via a TKO in the second round.
Harrison's next fight just may be the toughest one of his career, when he takes on Grady Brewer. Brewer is a veteran of 48 fights, 10 of which involved championship belts. In 2013, Brewer lost a 10 round split decision in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Osumanu Adama, in a bout that involved 3 belts. The IBO Intercontinental, the WBC Continental Americas, and the UBF Intercontinental middleweight title. Brewer has also held the NABF, IBC and IBA light middleweight titles. Many insiders say that this is the real test that Harrison has been looking for when he takes on Brewer.
